A story to share :D
There was once a little boy who is ten yeas old. One day, he fell ill but insisted to go to school as the exams are coming. He could hardly get up but somehow managed to force himself up. It was a cold day as its was raining out side. The rain was huge but as he get ready to go out, the rain dropped to a drizzle. To him, going to school was never this hard, with his head so cramp up and a splinting headache, he reached school on the verge of vommiting. Lessons started, within 2 hours, he vominted 4 times and somehow, there was a dustbin and gents nearby. He was then sent home, and his mum gave him some hot drink but whatever went in his stomach, he vomited all out. Feeling tired and weak, he went back to his room for a rest, then somehow thoughts of him wondering where is God and what He is doing or if there is God came to his mind. The boy started to think that its all due to man's nature, and blamed everything on God.
But as he lays there in the soft cold winds, words came to him. Softly and gently, the words brought him comfort. It went like this:
"I'm here, since the beginning, and I'm here in your room. I'm here when you woke up but you were too busy to notice Me. Who was the One that lighten the rain to a drizzle? Who gave you the strength to walk and sheltered you from danger? Who provided everything you need and guarded your steps to this day? These are the little things I've done for you but you took it for granted and in turn ask when I am. "
Let us stop now and think, what has God done for us. Let us give thanks for the smallest things like food, water and a healthy body. It is good to give thanks and therefore bad NOT to give thanks --wise words from Kris. Let us join the Hebrews in 13:15 to "continually offer the sacrifices of praise to God, that is, the fruits of our lips, giving thanks to His name.Amen."
