find it familiar? its taken from July 6 article of the 40 days fasting season booklet. i feel that these few points are the essentials of our christian life, as a community.
One Mind.
actually i dun reali understand what it was written under this title in the booklet. but to me, i feel that as a cell, as a church, we must have think as ONE. having ONE MIND. we think as one, and we aim as one. and of course, that is to serve God, be Christ-like and putting Christ as the centre of our life and sharing the Good News to all our loved ones and frens.
One Heart.
Uniting as ONE is very impt as well. and now that we are facing a crisis (even though we do not what is it), i give thanks to God because it grant us this opportunity to be even more bonded, as we hold on to one another in Christ. the love within us all is already very strong, i pray that it will grow even stronger so that we can hold each other hand in hand even when we face whichever problems along the way. and all of us, will continue to stand FIRM as ONE.
One Place.
this place, is a place where all of us look forward to go to every week. its our home, to which we call it, the House of God. i believe every single brother and sister cant wait come together every Sat/ Sun, where all of us gather together to pray, and of course, our favourite, to have fellowship. =)
like what Kris has taught us, corporate prayer is very important. because christianity is about community. we are never individuals. like the article in the booklet says,
"one reason corporate prayer is often more effective than solitary prayer is the principle of prayer agreement. Jesus said,'if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.' [Matthew 18:19] "
and our home, is the place where we gather together to have fellowship and pray.....
brothers n sisters, let us all have one MIND, one HEART and one PLACE...
continue to keep all in prayer.... as we all look forward to Sunday.
the day, we'll all gather together and have fellowship. =)
How good and pleasant it is when brothers love together in unity!
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.
